Until about nine hours ago, an American pope seemed about as likely as a female pope.

But now, as you may have heard, Cardinal Robert Prevost, holder of both US and Provean
[0:01:25 - 0:01:29] ▶
citizenship, has become Pope Leo XIV.
[0:01:29 - 0:01:33] ▶
And that name is a very big reason we are taking our true crime hats off tonight and
[0:01:33 - 0:01:39] ▶
putting on our mystery hats.
[0:01:39 - 0:01:41] ▶
Or shall I say our mystery miters?
[0:01:41 - 0:01:43] ▶
A lot has been made already about why the successor of Peter and the immediate successor of Francis
[0:01:44 - 0:01:51] ▶
Pope Leo ruled for 25 years at the end of the 19th century.
[0:01:53 - 0:01:57] ▶
He's known as the social justice pope using the ultimate pulpit to speak up for workers'
[0:01:57 - 0:02:02] ▶
rights and economic fairness.

In fact, the Vatican has now confirmed the new pope picked his new name for that very
[0:02:04 - 0:02:10] ▶
But you know what else, Pope Leo, the 13th did?
[0:02:11 - 0:02:14] ▶
He established the Vatican Observatory, cementing the church's long-standing fascination with
[0:02:14 - 0:02:21] ▶
Not just heaven, either.
[0:02:23 - 0:02:25] ▶
Even now, the Vatican operates a state-of-the-art telescope system on the outskirts of Rome and Mount
[0:02:25 - 0:02:32] ▶
Vatican astronomers collaborate with astronomers in leading institutions worldwide.
[0:02:34 - 0:02:40] ▶
Their findings, their methods, and their research, like all Vatican records are preserved for
[0:02:40 - 0:02:47] ▶
You guessed it, in the Vatican archives.
[0:02:49 - 0:02:52] ▶
They could help answer an ancient debate.

Whether centuries-old sightings of angels and other heavenly beings were actually extraterrestrials,

non-human visitors from somewhere else in the universe, you know, like the tic-tacs

Pope Francis, by the way, just last fall authorized an expansion of the Vatican archives and library,

which already comprise 50 miles of shelving.

And since this is the 21st century, archivists are scrambling to digitize everything that's
[0:03:43 - 0:03:48] ▶
The books, the files, even the parchment papers.

The hunt for proof of alien life in the Vatican files picked up steam in 2023 when a former
[0:03:54 - 0:03:59] ▶
US intelligence official named David Grush told Congress that the Vatican had been involved

David Grush later provided more details to news nations' Ross Coltart, and here is

So let's start from the very beginning.

where this Grush got the information.

Is it laughable to think that the Vatican holds secret information on the existence of

You are the perfect guest tonight in this nexus of the news and then the mystery that this

Why did President Carter want to reach out to the Vatican?

Well, the President Carter, when he was a governor of Georgia, actually saw a UFO, not something

distant in the sky like a twinkling star, but the length of a football field away.
[0:06:47 - 0:06:52] ▶
He was at a Lions Club meeting when he was governor.
[0:06:52 - 0:06:55] ▶
And he and 11 other people saw a UFO craft, a football field distance away.
[0:06:55 - 0:07:01] ▶
So as soon as he was elected president, one of the very first things he did was send
[0:07:01 - 0:07:06] ▶
for the head of the Central Intelligence Agency and ask him to come to planes, Georgia,
[0:07:06 - 0:07:11] ▶
and brief the president elect on the UFO issue.

It turns out that that CIA director at that time was George H. W. Bush appointed by
[0:07:15 - 0:07:22] ▶
Gerald Ford when he took over after Nixon's design.
[0:07:22 - 0:07:26] ▶
And the fact is, George H. W. Bush refused to brief the president, saying that the president
[0:07:26 - 0:07:32] ▶
had no need to know.
[0:07:32 - 0:07:34] ▶
And therefore he wasn't going to give him the information.

So because of that, what President Carter did was he contacted the head of the Science
[0:07:37 - 0:07:42] ▶
and Technology Committee of the House of Representatives and asked them to set up a Congressional
[0:07:42 - 0:07:48] ▶
Research Service investigation of all of the documents and evidence that was in the
[0:07:48 - 0:07:53] ▶
possession of our government about the UFO phenomenon in any extraterrestrial life
[0:07:53 - 0:07:57] ▶
form that might be responsible for them.

And that was who contacted me at the Jesuit headquarters to have me contact the Vatican
[0:08:00 - 0:08:07] ▶
to get whatever information the Vatican had about the UFO phenomenon and about extraterrestrial

So we could provide that to the president.

So I got authority from the Jesuit order that was my base at that time in the headquarters
[0:08:15 - 0:08:22] ▶
who send the letter to the Vatican and ask for those files.

Well, here we are a half century later.

And we have a new pope who seems to have this sort of slight connection, at least to the
[0:08:30 - 0:08:36] ▶
scientific heavens anyway.

And I'm wondering if you think it's going to make any difference.

Do you think that this new pope will actually help UFO enthusiasts and others gain access
[0:08:41 - 0:08:47] ▶
to whatever secrets lie beneath the Vatican?

I do believe so, yes.

I believe that he has a history as did Leo the 13th that preceded him actually in trying
[0:08:52 - 0:09:01] ▶
to establish the relationship between the cutting edge of science and the most profound fundamental
[0:09:01 - 0:09:07] ▶
theological concepts of a metaphysical dimension that is not accessible by most people.
[0:09:07 - 0:09:15] ▶
That's the key to this man.
[0:09:15 - 0:09:17] ▶
He is a person who wants to bring together science and theology to be able to bring the
[0:09:17 - 0:09:22] ▶
Catholic Church into the 21st century.

So we can begin to adjust the institutions of our planet to cope with the reality that
[0:09:25 - 0:09:30] ▶
there's an extraterrestrial non-human civilization that surrounds us and the fact that they've
[0:09:30 - 0:09:36] ▶
been coming and going from our planet, at least since the detonation of the first nuclear
[0:09:36 - 0:09:41] ▶
So I think that he is going to be the disclosure pope in the same way that we are going to
[0:09:44 - 0:09:50] ▶
have a disclosure of what the American government knows about this in the next handful of years.
[0:09:50 - 0:09:56] ▶
Boy, you just got me there.

That's something that a lot of people have obviously journalists, but a lot of people
[0:09:59 - 0:10:02] ▶
have been waiting for and I hope you're right.

But I do have this question, should the Vatican be concerned about any kinds of revelations
[0:10:05 - 0:10:11] ▶
or truth about aliens?
[0:10:11 - 0:10:13] ▶
Doesn't it contradict the teachings of the Church if there are aliens out there?

Well, what it does is it's different than the earliest, first and second century theology
[0:10:18 - 0:10:26] ▶
that was developed by the Church.
[0:10:26 - 0:10:27] ▶
At a point in time when 99.9% of all the people on the planet were completely illiterate
[0:10:27 - 0:10:35] ▶
and didn't travel more than 50 miles in the place where they were born.
[0:10:35 - 0:10:39] ▶
So the formulation of these esoteric insights that the Church has about the nature of human
[0:10:39 - 0:10:46] ▶
consciousness, our capabilities to engage in telepathic communication, the communion of
[0:10:46 - 0:10:52] ▶
the saints, if you will, life everlasting, which has to do with potential reincarnation,
[0:10:52 - 0:10:59] ▶
the ability to levitate, for example, like some months in the Catholic monasteries are
[0:10:59 - 0:11:06] ▶
capable of doing, like Jesus walked on water, the ability to transmute matter from, for
[0:11:06 - 0:11:12] ▶
example, water into wine.
[0:11:12 - 0:11:14] ▶
These are capabilities that deal with the kind of deepest scientific secrets about the
[0:11:14 - 0:11:19] ▶
relationship of human consciousness and the subatomic nature of reality.

This is what's in the process of coming forward and that's why many of the institutions
[0:11:24 - 0:11:30] ▶
of power on the planet right now are so reluctant to open up that box.
[0:11:30 - 0:11:36] ▶
But the Church has a fundamental responsibility to be the ushers in of a perception of our
[0:11:36 - 0:11:44] ▶
relationship to the universe in our human consciousness to the evolution of our species.
[0:11:44 - 0:11:50] ▶
So I believe that the Church is going to play a major role in doing this and they've
[0:11:50 - 0:11:55] ▶
issued a statement back in November of 2009 stating that in light of the fact that we've
[0:11:55 - 0:12:00] ▶
now got these new space-borne telescopes and they're discovering more and more of these
[0:12:00 - 0:12:05] ▶
new exoplanets, it's now clear, as they said, that much sooner than we had previously
[0:12:05 - 0:12:10] ▶
anticipated, we're going to discover that life exists elsewhere in the universe and
[0:12:10 - 0:12:15] ▶
therefore the time has arrived for the beginning of that all-important conversation about the
[0:12:15 - 0:12:21] ▶
profound philosophical and theological questions that are posed to our human family by the discovery
[0:12:21 - 0:12:27] ▶
of life elsewhere in the universe. That's the moment that we have reached now and this will be
[0:12:27 - 0:12:32] ▶
the Pope who governs the largest single denomination on our planet of 1.4 billion people to usher
[0:12:32 - 0:12:40] ▶
in this larger reality and integrate it with our sense of ourselves in the universe.

Danny, the one thing that I learned that was so surprising to me and correct me if I'm
[0:12:46 - 0:12:51] ▶
wrong here is that the archives don't belong to the Vatican, they belong to the Pope and so he is
[0:12:51 - 0:12:58] ▶
one person who can wave a magic wand and open that incredible labyrinth of information, but I also
[0:12:58 - 0:13:05] ▶
understand that there are politics that play out in the Vatican, it's just like any other organization.
[0:13:05 - 0:13:11] ▶
Could he be hamstrung by politics in the Vatican? Can he really just wave a wand and make it happen?
[0:13:12 - 0:13:18] ▶
Well, we'll see. This really has to do with the kind of disposition of power this within the
[0:13:19 - 0:13:26] ▶
College of Cardinals and within the Vatican structures themselves, just like any president
[0:13:26 - 0:13:31] ▶
coming into office and discovering that there are different agencies and different protocols
[0:13:31 - 0:13:37] ▶
that are operational, that the chief executive has to respect in order to get anything gun
[0:13:37 - 0:13:43] ▶
that Pope Leo the 14th is going to discover that he has to navigate the power structures, he's
[0:13:44 - 0:13:50] ▶
going to have to become intimately familiar with them, but he has spent some substantial amount of
[0:13:50 - 0:13:55] ▶
time in the Vatican. He's quite familiar with some of those power dynamics and I believe that he's
[0:13:55 - 0:14:01] ▶
going to try to lead the entire human family, not just the 1.4 billion Catholics, but the entire
[0:14:01 - 0:14:08] ▶
human family into a better understanding of our place in the universe and the relationship that
[0:14:08 - 0:14:13] ▶
our human species is going to play in relationship to the entire non-human civilization that surrounds us
[0:14:13 - 0:14:21] ▶
outside of our solar system. This is an extraordinary period of history that we're living through,
[0:14:21 - 0:14:27] ▶
that people that are listening to this program are going to be alive when this disclosure is made,
[0:14:27 - 0:14:32] ▶
not only by the United States government, but by the Vatican and by the leaders of the Jewish faith,
[0:14:32 - 0:14:38] ▶
and in the Hebrew, the Hindu faith, the Buddhist faith, all of the leaders of these major
[0:14:39 - 0:14:46] ▶
denominations on our planet know that our human family has much greater capabilities than we've
[0:14:46 - 0:14:52] ▶
been allowed to know about, and they know a lot more about the existence of this extraterrestrial
[0:14:52 - 0:14:57] ▶
civilization than they have yet publicly revealed. This is what's getting ready to happen in the
[0:14:57 - 0:15:01] ▶
next five to six years. You know, David Grush, as the whistleblower, testifying before Congress,
[0:15:01 - 0:15:08] ▶
talked about a cover-up that the U.S. government has been involved in a decades-long cover-up.

The exact language was akin to, it's an alien aircraft, crashed aircraft recovery,
[0:15:15 - 0:15:21] ▶
program that collects stores and re-engineers what they find and that they are non-human dead pilots.

All I have to say to that is that it is fascinating. I don't think it's impossible,
[0:15:30 - 0:15:34] ▶
but it sure is difficult to have upwards of 10 administrations since Carter. All keep these
[0:15:34 - 0:15:40] ▶
secrets, and only David Grush is the one whistleblower who's come out and said something,
[0:15:40 - 0:15:45] ▶
and that's usually the story about a vast conspiracy. The more vast it gets, the more hard it is
[0:15:45 - 0:15:50] ▶
to contain. So why would something this explosive be so perfectly contained for so very, very long?

Well, actually, there are over 40 top secret classified experts from deep inside the
[0:15:58 - 0:16:05] ▶
federal government and various agencies who have already come forward and testified in secret
[0:16:05 - 0:16:10] ▶
behind closed doors to the Senate Intelligence Committee. So it's not just David Grush that is
[0:16:10 - 0:16:16] ▶
confirming this. There are all kinds of people, including Jay Stratton, who was the head of the
[0:16:16 - 0:16:21] ▶
advanced weapons special access program inside the Pentagon, who has been in charge of trying to
[0:16:21 - 0:16:27] ▶
develop a weapon system out of the technology that's being recovered from these craft so that our
[0:16:27 - 0:16:34] ▶
government can establish full spectrum military dominance over the planet. So this is something that
[0:16:34 - 0:16:40] ▶
has to be addressed. This is not a legitimate objective of our national security to engage in
[0:16:40 - 0:16:46] ▶
that. We have to be able to establish reach out and establish treaties with the other nation states,
[0:16:46 - 0:16:51] ▶
including Russia and China in India and other major players in all the NATO countries,
[0:16:51 - 0:16:57] ▶
to establish a treaty whereby we will all agree not to use any of this technology recovered from
[0:16:57 - 0:17:04] ▶
these craft for a weapon system. This is a critical thing that needs to be done. That's why our
[0:17:04 - 0:17:09] ▶
new paradigm institute in Washington DC is dedicated not only to securing full disclosure of what
[0:17:09 - 0:17:16] ▶
our government knows about it, but also helping to formulate a new paradigm post-contact
[0:17:16 - 0:17:22] ▶
worldview so that we can understand the value of our human family in the hierarchy of beings in
[0:17:23 - 0:17:29] ▶
the universe so that we don't consider ourselves like some primitive tribe that gets discovered,

you know, in 1955 that there's a world outside of their island, you know, so that their entire

civilization collapsed, be that as it was. You know, we have to start taking concrete steps to move

step-by-step to adjust our major institutions, our geopolitical institutions, our economic institutions,

our religious institutions, to accommodate this new information that is going to be made available

so that we can not only respect the other civilization, but we can be respected

by them so that we can in fact engage in a mutually respectful and mutually beneficial

relationship between our two cultures. This has to be governed by people such as

Pope Leo the 14th now and the presidents of our country.
