of the government scientists who worked on the top secret project Blue Book are

ready to talk. What's more a series of revealing government documents have
[0:00:41 - 0:00:46] ▶
trickled out of the federal files documents that paint a much different
[0:00:46 - 0:00:50] ▶
picture of the UFO phenomenon. One of the most dedicated UFO researchers lives
[0:00:50 - 0:00:54] ▶
right here in Las Vegas. His name is John Lear and he is my guest today. Mr. Lear,

thanks for being here. To begin with you're a pilot, an airline pilot, captain. You

have held 17 different world speed records at one time or another. You're a
[0:01:06 - 0:01:10] ▶
member of the famous Lear family that all the vatins are pretty much familiar
[0:01:10 - 0:01:14] ▶
with. A former state senate candidate. You don't sound like the kind of guy
[0:01:14 - 0:01:17] ▶
who would get hooked up in something that a lot of people would say as a bunch
[0:01:17 - 0:01:20] ▶
of nonsense. No, it's just by coincidence that I got really interested this
[0:01:20 - 0:01:25] ▶
about two years ago. My father saw UFO and my brother did. Yeah, they were very
[0:01:25 - 0:01:30] ▶
interested, but there was really no proof as far as I was concerned to really look
[0:01:30 - 0:01:37] ▶
into it and about until about two years ago. Your father and brother saw them.
[0:01:37 - 0:01:41] ▶
Can you give details? My brother saw one. He was flying a P-38 from Phoenix to
[0:01:41 - 0:01:46] ▶
Los Angeles at night. It just appeared in front of him. He made two turns,
[0:01:46 - 0:01:51] ▶
nine degree turns at state in front of him and then disappeared. And my father
[0:01:51 - 0:01:55] ▶
was flying at night. I believe over the Arizona desert and saw one too. So you
[0:01:55 - 0:02:00] ▶
started, you got an interest because of the other members of your family. How
[0:02:00 - 0:02:04] ▶
did you start out? I had an interest, but there was really nothing I could put my
[0:02:04 - 0:02:07] ▶
finger on. And like I say two years ago, friend of mine came through town. We
[0:02:07 - 0:02:11] ▶
had flown in Southeast Asia together and he was returned from the Air Force. He
[0:02:11 - 0:02:16] ▶
came over and we started talking about where he had been for the last 15 years.
[0:02:16 - 0:02:20] ▶
And he mentioned that he had been stationed at bentwaters. And I said, oh, bent
[0:02:20 - 0:02:24] ▶
waters. That's where the flying saucer supposedly was in 1980. He said, no, John
[0:02:24 - 0:02:30] ▶
not supposedly it was. He said, I don't care if you believe me or not. It landed. I
[0:02:30 - 0:02:34] ▶
didn't see it because we were confined to quarters, but I know people who did.
[0:02:34 - 0:02:37] ▶
And I'll give you the names. And if you ever see them, tell them you know me and
[0:02:37 - 0:02:41] ▶
they'll tell you the whole story. Since then, I ran into one of the security
[0:02:41 - 0:02:45] ▶
police who was within 10 feet of the saucer and actually saw the three aliens get
[0:02:45 - 0:02:49] ▶
out and go up to General Gordon Williams, who was the wing commander at that time.
[0:02:49 - 0:02:55] ▶
Now there was quite a bit of documentation regarding this bentwan or incident. Why
[0:02:55 - 0:03:00] ▶
don't you go into that a little bit? There's the Colonel Halt memo that came out
[0:03:00 - 0:03:04] ▶
under the Freedom of Information Act. And I told about the mysterious lights and
[0:03:04 - 0:03:08] ▶
beaming down and everything that happened in the forest except the actual
[0:03:08 - 0:03:12] ▶
alien landings. That wasn't in the memo. And there was also the tape, Colonel Halt
[0:03:12 - 0:03:16] ▶
tape forest tape that he made over a period of eight hours. And there's a 20 minute
[0:03:16 - 0:03:22] ▶
segment that we've been able to get a hold of that you can hear him running through
[0:03:22 - 0:03:26] ▶
the forest and being worried saying the things after us.
[0:03:26 - 0:03:31] ▶
Now why do you suppose that hasn't come out? I mean this particular incident, why hasn't
[0:03:31 - 0:03:37] ▶
come out if so many people and you've told me about this before have seen it or seen
[0:03:37 - 0:03:41] ▶
these aliens? Why haven't some of them come forward? A lot of them have come forward,
[0:03:41 - 0:03:45] ▶
but they're just not getting any press. It's something that people just don't want
[0:03:45 - 0:03:49] ▶
to deal with. The press doesn't want to deal with. And people aren't going to listen
[0:03:49 - 0:03:53] ▶
to something unless Dan Rather or any of your big press people are going to tell them
[0:03:53 - 0:04:00] ▶
about it. And they're just too spooked. The Air Force has made an art form of ridiculing
[0:04:00 - 0:04:07] ▶
people who have talked about this thing. They've done an excellent job of covering it up
[0:04:07 - 0:04:11] ▶
for the last 40 years. George, basically what we're dealing with here is I'll give you
[0:04:11 - 0:04:17] ▶
the bottom line. I'm not trying to sell a book. I'm not trying to promote a lecture. This
[0:04:17 - 0:04:23] ▶
is based on what I've come across after intense research in last year. And I have found
[0:04:23 - 0:04:29] ▶
out that the government has retrieved between 10 and 15 flat short flying saucers, three
[0:04:29 - 0:04:34] ▶
of which have been in perfect condition, one of which they tried to fly. They have between
[0:04:34 - 0:04:40] ▶
30 and 50 alien bodies in cryogenic storage. We even have the name of the person whose job
[0:04:40 - 0:04:47] ▶
it is to show these bodies to the heads of state and the people who are authorized to see
[0:04:47 - 0:04:53] ▶
them. They represent at least five different civilizations. I can't imagine Dan Rather or
[0:04:53 - 0:05:00] ▶
Tom Brokall if that were to come to their attention, a story of that magnitude that they
[0:05:00 - 0:05:04] ▶
wouldn't do something with it. Well, I can't answer that question. I don't know why they
[0:05:04 - 0:05:10] ▶
don't do it. There certainly is enough evidence based on what I've looked at. For instance,
[0:05:10 - 0:05:15] ▶
the Linda Molten Howe documentary in Denver for the CBS affiliate they are called a
[0:05:15 - 0:05:22] ▶
Strange Harvest. Since 1975 to 1980 when she made the documentary, there's at least
[0:05:22 - 0:05:29] ▶
9,000 cattle mutilations. Now the government said that the mutilations were normal. Your
[0:05:29 - 0:05:35] ▶
desert predator did these, but they weren't. The mutilations they could have a picture of
[0:05:35 - 0:05:41] ▶
these somewhere. Maybe we can see that as you're talking. Well, that's the next picture.

There we are. This is the mutilation in New Mexico state police did the research or the
[0:05:46 - 0:05:51] ▶
investigation on it. They cut out certain parts and the cut was made with a laser beam far
[0:05:51 - 0:05:59] ▶
sharper than anything we have. As a matter of fact, they were able to determine that they
[0:05:59 - 0:06:03] ▶
cut between the cells and didn't cut the cells themselves. We presently don't have this
[0:06:03 - 0:06:07] ▶
kind of technology. Well, if we don't know that we have this kind of technology or you
[0:06:07 - 0:06:13] ▶
and I don't know that we don't, but that doesn't prove necessarily that it's ET. No, except
[0:06:13 - 0:06:18] ▶
that there's usually a visual sighting of a flying saucer or a light, a strange light
[0:06:18 - 0:06:25] ▶
at each one of these sightings. Okay, you mentioned the saucers and the bodies. Now, what
[0:06:25 - 0:06:29] ▶
kind of proof do you have that that is true? How do you know that? Well, let me take a look.
[0:06:29 - 0:06:34] ▶
Let me read to you first a what the Air Force says about the about the bodies. First of
[0:06:34 - 0:06:40] ▶
all, I'm going to read from the introductory space science volume two Department of Physics
[0:06:40 - 0:06:44] ▶
United States Air Force. This is chapter 13, unidentified flying objects. Now, this is
[0:06:44 - 0:06:49] ▶
what the Air Force has the students at the Air Force Academy read. And it says the most
[0:06:49 - 0:06:54] ▶
commonly described alien is about three and a half feet tall has a round head, arms reaching
[0:06:54 - 0:07:00] ▶
to her below his knees and is wearing a silvery space suit or coveralls. Other aliens appear
[0:07:00 - 0:07:05] ▶
to be essentially the same as Earthmen, while still others have particularly riled wrap
[0:07:05 - 0:07:10] ▶
around eyes and mouths with very thin lips. And there is a rare group reported to be about
[0:07:10 - 0:07:16] ▶
four feet tall, weight of around 35 pounds and covered with thick hair for clothing. Members
[0:07:16 - 0:07:21] ▶
of this last group are described as being extremely strong. Now, I'm not making this up.
[0:07:21 - 0:07:25] ▶
This is an air for you can pick out an Air Force physics book and read this stuff. And
[0:07:25 - 0:07:29] ▶
at the end of the chapter, they go on to say this leads us to believe in the unpleasant
[0:07:29 - 0:07:34] ▶
possibility of alien visitors to our planet or at least of alien controlled UFOs. Now,
[0:07:34 - 0:07:40] ▶
the picture that we have of the of the big head that the Air Force describes. This picture
[0:07:40 - 0:07:48] ▶
was drawn by an Army surgeon. These are one of the bodies that was recovered in the famous
[0:07:48 - 0:07:53] ▶
Roswell incident of 1947. Tell us about that. It was the first flying saucer that crashed
[0:07:53 - 0:07:59] ▶
and was recovered by the Army. It was covered up. There has been several books about it.
[0:07:59 - 0:08:05] ▶
They recovered four beams and one of the surgeons that was responsible for the autopsy drew
[0:08:05 - 0:08:11] ▶
that picture and came up with some of these interesting things in the autopsy. I'll just
[0:08:11 - 0:08:20] ▶
read a couple of three and a half to four and a half feet tall, two round eyes without
[0:08:20 - 0:08:26] ▶
pupils, no earlobes, noisys, vague. Next describe as being thin. Arms are described long
[0:08:26 - 0:08:33] ▶
and thin reaching down to the knee section. You can see that there is a web portion in the
[0:08:33 - 0:08:37] ▶
hands, no teeth, no apparent reproductive organs. Brain is capacity unknown. Colorless liquid
[0:08:37 - 0:08:45] ▶
prevalent in the body without red cells, no lymphocytes. And there's more in that particular
[0:08:45 - 0:08:50] ▶
portion. This is an autopsy report. And you said the government goes to great lengths,
[0:08:50 - 0:08:54] ▶
the Air Force in particular to discredit this kind of stuff. Where did this come from?
[0:08:54 - 0:08:57] ▶
How did you get that? That came from the private collection of Leonard
[0:08:57 - 0:09:02] ▶
Stringfield, who was one of the premier researchers. He worked for the Air Force in the early
[0:09:02 - 0:09:08] ▶
50s in a secret project reporting UFOs. Then as a civilian, he continued his private research
[0:09:08 - 0:09:15] ▶
and this is out of his collection. Why does the government want to hide this? Why
[0:09:15 - 0:09:20] ▶
doesn't the Air Force just come forward? Why don't they level with us if this is all true?
[0:09:20 - 0:09:25] ▶
Well, there's not really much they could say based on what I've been able to find out.

George, they're really, you know, what could they say about it? They've been researching
[0:09:29 - 0:09:33] ▶
it for many, many years and based on my information, let's say that the president decided to make
[0:09:33 - 0:09:41] ▶
an announcement. If you made it today, this is what I think that he would say. My fellow
[0:09:41 - 0:09:48] ▶
Americans, I come to you before you tonight with an announcement of great importance. Despite
[0:09:48 - 0:09:53] ▶
all our denials flying saucers do, in fact, exist. Where they come from, we do not know.
[0:09:53 - 0:09:58] ▶
Who is in them, we do not know. Where they are from, we do not know. Nor do we know how
[0:09:58 - 0:10:03] ▶
they got here or what they want. We are unable to duplicate any of the metals found on the
[0:10:03 - 0:10:09] ▶
several craft we have recovered. Nor are we able to figure out how they are propelled.

We have hidden these facts from you over the past 40 years in hopes that we give you, could
[0:10:14 - 0:10:19] ▶
give you more answers. Unfortunately, we are no closer to answers today than we were 40
[0:10:19 - 0:10:25] ▶
years ago. God bless you all. In other words, you find it highly unlikely that the president

would ever make a statement anything like that. No, it's just, it's too big. The problem

is not only just the fact that there are five and as many as 10 different civilizations

visiting us. Apparently, and this is from the research that I've done, at least 90% of
[0:10:44 - 0:10:52] ▶
them are hostile. And when I say hostile, if not hostile, they have a completely different
[0:10:52 - 0:10:58] ▶
set of morals than we do. Okay, I'll tell you what, we're going to come back to the

president and aliens because there have been some statements made by presidents, including
[0:11:03 - 0:11:08] ▶

Lear mentioned a couple of minutes ago about what the president might say about UFOs. Do

you believe that various presidents have been informed about what you believe to be the
[0:11:32 - 0:11:36] ▶
truth on UFOs? Each president has been informed up to and including President Reagan. I'm
[0:11:36 - 0:11:43] ▶
not sure to the extent they are informed. Privately, I don't believe they are giving the full
[0:11:43 - 0:11:48] ▶
briefing. The people that control this information is an organization that we know of as MJ-12.
[0:11:48 - 0:11:57] ▶
And they're a top group of military and scientists. And I do know that when the president
[0:11:57 - 0:12:04] ▶
becomes president, it takes at least three or four months before he actually gets the
[0:12:04 - 0:12:09] ▶
clearance to know everything there is. Now that doesn't mean they tell it, but it does
[0:12:09 - 0:12:14] ▶
take three or four months to get. Now talking to the president, let's talk about what the
[0:12:14 - 0:12:19] ▶
president has actually said. Has he mentioned anything about aliens? President Reagan.

On December 4, 1985, this is a copy of this speech from the White House. Just before he
[0:12:24 - 0:12:29] ▶
went over to Iceland, he says, I couldn't but one point in our discussions privately with
[0:12:29 - 0:12:35] ▶
Secretary General Gorbachev. When you stop to think that we're all God's children, wherever
[0:12:35 - 0:12:40] ▶
we may live in this world, I couldn't help but say to him, just think how easy his task
[0:12:40 - 0:12:45] ▶
and mine might be in these meetings that we held. If suddenly there was a threat to this
[0:12:45 - 0:12:49] ▶
world from some other species, from another planet outside in the universe, we'd forget
[0:12:49 - 0:12:55] ▶
all our local differences that we have between our countries. And we would find out once
[0:12:55 - 0:12:59] ▶
and for all that we really are all human beings here on this earth together.

He couldn't be just making a supposition for purpose of making a point. You're saying

he's trying to tell us something? Well here, one week ago at the 42nd General Assembly

at the in front of the UN, September 21st, he says, in our obsession with the antagonism
[0:13:13 - 0:13:19] ▶
of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we
[0:13:19 - 0:13:24] ▶
need some outside universal threat to make us recognize his common bond. I occasionally
[0:13:24 - 0:13:29] ▶
think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat
[0:13:29 - 0:13:35] ▶
from outside this world. And yet I ask you, is not an alien force not already among us?

Now this is right out of a White House speech. I'm not making this up.

What did he mean by this alien force? I mean does it say, does he go on to say something?

He says, what could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our people than war and the
[0:13:49 - 0:13:56] ▶
threat of war? But the point is, why would he even bring up aliens? I mean, it's pretty
[0:13:56 - 0:14:01] ▶
far out for the President of the United States to be mentioned threats from outer space.

Okay, what about President Carter? President Carter, we have the quote from Carter when he
[0:14:05 - 0:14:12] ▶
was during his election campaign. If I become president, I'll make every piece of information
[0:14:12 - 0:14:18] ▶
this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists. I am convinced
[0:14:18 - 0:14:23] ▶
that UFOs exist because I have seen one.

Jimmy Carter says he saw one. That's Jimmy Carter. He saw one.
[0:14:27 - 0:14:30] ▶
But he didn't tell us did he? He didn't. The pressure is enormous on these people to
[0:14:30 - 0:14:35] ▶
cover this stuff up. How can that be? Are they afraid of a panic? That people would panic?

There's the panic problem and there's also the problem that in fact, in Crow Mag and
[0:14:41 - 0:14:49] ▶
man, there may have been some tinkering to make us what we are today. And that's been
[0:14:49 - 0:14:54] ▶
borne out by several researchers. We couldn't have developed exactly the missing link. Something
[0:14:54 - 0:15:01] ▶
had to happen to get us going. Between 4,000 and 8,000 BC, we had just been going along
[0:15:01 - 0:15:08] ▶
for 100,000 years not doing anything. All of a sudden bang, we started making pottery,
[0:15:08 - 0:15:13] ▶
invented the wheel, invented fire, and everything took off. What was the key that did that? I don't
[0:15:13 - 0:15:19] ▶
know, but it causes one to thing. You mentioned a couple of minutes ago before the break that you
[0:15:19 - 0:15:23] ▶
think 90% of these visitors are hostile. What makes you think that? Well, it doesn't fit with what
[0:15:23 - 0:15:29] ▶
we think of as ET, you know? We, if you'll read several of these books that are on the news
[0:15:29 - 0:15:34] ▶
stands. One is called intruders. One is called communion. They apparently come down and when
[0:15:34 - 0:15:43] ▶
I say apparently, this is taken from 300 hypnosis cases. Friend of mine has done 140 of them.

And the people are abducted. They're taken up into a saucer, usually lasts about an hour.
[0:15:52 - 0:15:57] ▶
They do all kinds of experiments. They give them shots. They poke them. They cut them. They do
[0:15:57 - 0:16:04] ▶
all kinds of things. They wipe out their memory and send them back. Only after several months of
[0:16:04 - 0:16:09] ▶
some psychological problems, do they end up going to a psychiatrist? And the psychiatrist on trying
[0:16:09 - 0:16:17] ▶
to find out what the problem is in the use of hypnosis finds out that this person has been abducted.
[0:16:17 - 0:16:22] ▶
What's the reason for that? What are they trying to learn? There's three things that they're trying to do
[0:16:22 - 0:16:28] ▶
with these abductions. The first thing is they're trying to monitor us. It started in the early 40s.
[0:16:28 - 0:16:33] ▶
And they'd put a little unit, a very small BB type object, way up in the back side of the brain.
[0:16:33 - 0:16:40] ▶
And they'd leave it there for about 18 years. They'd pick them up and put it in about four years old.
[0:16:40 - 0:16:44] ▶
About 12 years old, they would pick them up and monitor it. Then about 18, they'd take it out.

The second thing they did is they put a post-hypnotic suggestion. According to many of the people that have
[0:16:50 - 0:17:00] ▶
been hypnotized and we found out what they've told them. Apparently within the next two to five years,
[0:17:00 - 0:17:06] ▶
there is going to be a big event. Something enormous is going to happen. And these people who have been
[0:17:06 - 0:17:12] ▶
abducted and there's probably over 100,000 of them have been given some place to go in something to do.

But under a best hypnotic techniques, we cannot find out what it is.

So how do we know that that's true? Because they said they're going to do something. They know
[0:17:23 - 0:17:29] ▶
that they're going to do something, but they know they can't find out exactly what it is.
[0:17:29 - 0:17:34] ▶
And the third thing that they do is genetic experiments. They've been crossbreeding.
[0:17:34 - 0:17:39] ▶
There's a very good book out now called Intruder's written by a bud hopkins. And it's about a crossbreeding
[0:17:39 - 0:17:44] ▶
experiment with a girl in Indianapolis. And they actually, the big head, which we call the big head
[0:17:44 - 0:17:51] ▶
in research, the little three and a half foot tall with a big head. They crossbreed that with
[0:17:51 - 0:17:57] ▶
this girl in Indianapolis. And there were seven children. And just last fall, before the book was
[0:17:57 - 0:18:05] ▶
published, they brought the oldest and the youngest to show to her and they let her name all seven.
[0:18:05 - 0:18:11] ▶
Now this book has been thoroughly researched by bud hopkins. And although it sounds strange,
[0:18:11 - 0:18:16] ▶
believe me when I tell you, you may not find out in a month, the year, five years or ten years.

But you'll look back at what I'm telling you now and you'll say to yourself,

my gosh, the son of a gun was right.

Well, where's this girl now? She just lives in Indianapolis?

She got, no, she lives in town or just outside of town. She just got married but went to her wedding.

We all know who she is. She gets along, you know, just fine. It doesn't mean, just because she was
[0:18:39 - 0:18:44] ▶
adopted and gave him children, doesn't mean it was the end of the world. It was just a part of her life.

Why don't we see a lot of photographic evidence as many cameras and video gear?

Why don't we see a lot of that?

There are a lot of it before you go on. I know the pictures that we showed in the beginning of

this program, you say they're baloney, they're phony. That's right. The pictures you showed at the
[0:19:01 - 0:19:05] ▶
beginning were the, called the Myers incident. It's called the visitor, the visitors from Pleiades.

And any uphologist, Worthy Salt, knows and who has researched that case,

knows that he cannot back it up with the negatives and the essential information to prove
[0:19:19 - 0:19:24] ▶
that something like that happened. So we look at that as suspect.

of our viewers. Yeah, the Japanese airline incident was a cargo 747 that had taken off from
[0:20:12 - 0:20:16] ▶
Iceland flying to Anchorage. And as he passed over the United States border and the northern

plane. What the radar, that was an attempt to describe it. You can't imagine what pressure

these people are under to cover this stuff up. It's tremendous pressure. It really is. Okay.

that a lot of the sightings are around military bases. Why don't we see them here? Las Vegas,

we got a lot of military bases here. Well, in fact, there have been a lot of reports of UFOs

in around Las Vegas, not specifically over the Air Force bases. We have the test site and of course,

we don't know what's going on there. And we have Nalis Air Force base, but there have not really

been a lot of sightings over there. The main Air Force sightings were in 1975, and the UFOs

descended on every strategic air command base guarding the perimeter of the Northern United States.

And they hovered over the nuclear weapon storage area, and they stayed there with impunity for
[0:23:36 - 0:23:42] ▶
up to two and three hours over a period of three days. And nobody heard about it? Well, there was a

few reports, but you really don't. I have a report 150 pages long of the F-106s that were sent out
[0:23:47 - 0:23:55] ▶
to chase them in the halicopteries and notify in the Canadian authorities and the security patrolman
[0:23:55 - 0:24:02] ▶
that were sent down to actually see what was going on and they'd come up on these things and they
[0:24:02 - 0:24:07] ▶
say I'm not going any further. You think maybe it's a top secret area if the Air Force actually does
[0:24:08 - 0:24:15] ▶
have them? Maybe they got them here? I'm certain they do. Up at the test site there's a report that
[0:24:15 - 0:24:22] ▶
of the three that they got in perfectly good condition at least one is up at the test site and
[0:24:23 - 0:24:29] ▶
has flown and was being flown as of 1981. By us? By us, yeah. We mentioned at the top of the show

that perhaps a breakthrough might be coming. Some of these people from MJ-12 or from the project

Blue Book or in on the government's research and we saw some of this stuff might be ready to talk.
