Let's get some perspective from someone who knows, okay?

So where is the cynicometer on whether or not this time we will get what is promised

and it will be a meaningful delivery?

It's a very awkward situation because the president has made clear he values protecting classified information,
[0:00:32 - 0:00:39] ▶
but he's also said he wants to release this UFO information, all of which happens to be classified.
[0:00:40 - 0:00:46] ▶
So people in the bureaucracy are caught in the middle of this trying to sort out where to draw the line,
[0:00:47 - 0:00:53] ▶
what to release, how to release it, to whom to release it, to the public, to Congress, some to each.
[0:00:53 - 0:01:02] ▶
So I don't think this is going to happen overnight.

It's a significant body of information.

They're going to have to review these files one at a time, case by case, within their different organizations.

I'm hopeful. All of us, my associates and colleagues, of course, support transparency and to the maximum degree possible,

consistent with national security.
[0:01:27 - 0:01:29] ▶
So we're hoping this is going to be very meaningful and extensive, but we're also under the impression it is going to take a while
[0:01:29 - 0:01:38] ▶
and it is not necessarily going to be as extensive as many people might want to see.
[0:01:38 - 0:01:46] ▶
Here's the weird thing, or one weird thing.

How do you explain it to so many in the media and even in Congress and in positions of power
[0:01:50 - 0:01:55] ▶
who believe that this is a complete farce, that there is nothing there?
[0:01:55 - 0:02:00] ▶
How do you deal with them believing that when at the same time they won't release any of these, any information
[0:02:00 - 0:02:07] ▶
because they say it's classified and they can't do it without violating national security?
[0:02:07 - 0:02:12] ▶
If it's a nothing burger, why wouldn't they just come out and say,
[0:02:12 - 0:02:15] ▶
look, I don't know where you people got all this craziness from on the Internet, but here's what it is.
[0:02:15 - 0:02:20] ▶
Here's what we're looking at.
[0:02:20 - 0:02:21] ▶
And there's nothing here.
[0:02:21 - 0:02:23] ▶
Yeah, the simple answer is it's not a nothing burger.
[0:02:24 - 0:02:27] ▶
It is a categorically a real thing, a very real thing.

And the people that take the time to listen to and speak with our F-18 pilots
[0:02:32 - 0:02:38] ▶
and other military personnel who've had firsthand encounters,
[0:02:38 - 0:02:42] ▶
talk to the radio operators, talk to the radio technicians and so forth.
[0:02:42 - 0:02:48] ▶
You come to realize pretty quickly that this is very much for real.
[0:02:48 - 0:02:54] ▶
And not only that, there's a lot of activity that's occurring over and around our military facilities.
[0:02:54 - 0:03:01] ▶
And in some cases, it's very brazen.
[0:03:02 - 0:03:05] ▶
We had weeks of activities by unidentified craft over Langley Air Force Base, for example.
[0:03:06 - 0:03:15] ▶
And the Air Force was not able to identify those craft, where they were coming from, who was controlling them.
[0:03:15 - 0:03:22] ▶
None of them malfunctioned.
[0:03:22 - 0:03:24] ▶
None of them fell from the sky, as often happens with drones.
[0:03:24 - 0:03:27] ▶
That has happened at many U.S. bases now and over U.S. ships off the coast.
[0:03:27 - 0:03:33] ▶
And those are just, you know, that's one subset of a larger picture that involves a lot of other strange things,
[0:03:35 - 0:03:42] ▶
triangular craft, orbs and other things that are being filmed by the Defense Department, which they cannot explain.
[0:03:42 - 0:03:50] ▶
So the fact is, they have a considerable amount of data, and they have had since World War II.
[0:03:50 - 0:03:56] ▶
And the body of data is growing.
[0:03:57 - 0:03:59] ▶
We're up to now thousands of reports in just the last few years since Congress passed legislation saying,
[0:03:59 - 0:04:06] ▶
we want you to keep track of this.
[0:04:06 - 0:04:08] ▶
That's just military reports.
[0:04:09 - 0:04:11] ▶
That doesn't include civilian reports.
[0:04:11 - 0:04:13] ▶
It's a very real issue, and it's a very concerning issue.

Chris, we don't know enough yet, but just give me a quick take.

Are the disappearances of this personnel either missing or dead under curious circumstances?
[0:04:23 - 0:04:29] ▶
Do you believe that there is a relationship worth pursuing?
[0:04:29 - 0:04:33] ▶
I do not believe there is common cause among all the names that have been mentioned.
[0:04:34 - 0:04:39] ▶
I don't think there's a single hand that has produced all of these tragic fatalities.
[0:04:39 - 0:04:45] ▶
Responsible for all of them.
[0:04:45 - 0:04:47] ▶
I do not believe that.
[0:04:47 - 0:04:48] ▶
But I do think there is a subset that are certainly worth investigating.
[0:04:48 - 0:04:51] ▶
And the FBI is doing that, to my understanding.
[0:04:52 - 0:04:56] ▶
I'm glad to hear that.

When people like Matthew Sullivan die in the way he did unexpectedly just before he was going to testify,

I think that reaches a threshold that you say, yeah, somebody should look at this.
