And there we went about as in fact, he had another guy from the NRO give us a tour. But he told us good not to go over to the speed limit, not one mile an hour because it would get you.
NGA, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, NRO, National Reconnaissance Office, right? NSA, National Security Agency, all these organizations that have their own intelligence mission.
The UAP task force director funneled a request through the Ops Center like, hey, is there any intel officer for your agency would be willing to be representative on the task force to kind of fill that void with expertise from NRO and the Air Force?
So, basically, even the director of the CIA, even the director of DIA, NGA, NRO, everybody, Lodi, Dottie, you are all responsible to that guy or that gal, whoever that is.
First off, let's just talk about the NRO for a second. This was founded in 1961 pre-cold war. We wanted to find a way to spy on the Russians and just basically dominate the information sector of the world.
Okay, let's look at the mission patch first. So NRO L38, it's the 38th mission. A.V. stands for Atlas. That is the type of rocket, which I don't think they launch anymore. But that was the type of rocket.
That's my best guess, but it is featured on multiple patches. Here's from the NRO's websites. They have a pictorial history PDF, which I'll link below, which has all of the patches.
So the description says the namesake Drake for NROL 38 is rooted in Greek mythology, Old English, and honors a former NRO employee who lost a valiant fight against cancer.
Obviously if there was something lurking under there with the technology that we have especially with the NRO and everything else like we know about it right.
