And so, so Eric calls his really good buddy, Marco Schriez, who's also a police, military police, but he was off duty that night.

And Marco Schriez, 23 year old, super fit, uh, military guy, without a moment's hesitation, without, you know, any concern for his own safety, just leaps out the back of the car, the, the, the, the, the passenger seat of the car and grabs the creature.

Uh, at this hospital, um, Marco Turezzi, uh, gets to this hospital, uh, where they, you know, bring the being and.

Marco then goes home and he's starting to develop this sickness.

Uh, he's basically on camera saying that, uh, Marco came to him almost, uh, pleading him to help him.

Human infections are extremely rare and normally only occur after surgery or in people with medical devices, which Marco had either of these.

I think that inadvertently and by accident, when Marco Scherzi, military police officer grabbed this thing, he got a scratch from the nail under his arm.

officer, Marco Cirisi. So we're doing this interview and it's all amazing. And they're saying

Marco's there. Alini's there. Translator, you know, and, and takes us into the ICU. Then he
